The menu at jP American Bistro changes with the seasons. The eclectic menu always features pizzas, pastas, innovative takes on meat and potatos, as well as an abundance of fresh fish, handled with the finesse J.P. learned from his mentor, David Bouley. The dessert menu also changes with the seasons, featuring a mingled mix of bistro classics, such as creme brulee, chocolate mole cake and peach and raspberry crostata.
From appetizers to entrees to desserts, the flavor of J.P.'s Mediterranean training pours through revealing French and Italian influences spiked with Asian accents.
J.P. is a proponent of locally grown produce and has cultivated many relationships with local farmers in his decade of cooking in the Twin Cities. jP American Bistro is proud to showcase meat and produce from Minnesota's farmers.
The Bistro's wine offering showcases wines from around the world. Several wines are available by the glass and a large selection is available in half-bottles, always with an emphasis on value and quality.
