J.P. Samuelson's charming bistro occupies the former Theis Brother's tire warehouse, revealing the natural charm of the original 1908 Anchor Stone building. Exposed wooden ceiling joists and massive Douglas Fir columns embrace the building's turn of the century heritage. This rugged space has been softened by pale yellow walls, white linen tablecloths and wall vases filled with fresh flowers. The space features original works of art by local artists Joseph Samuelson, Dan Raphael and Emily Allen, as well as photos by Gwen Arkin of Maui, Hawaii.
The full service bar located in the front of the bistro sports rich mahogany walls, a slate floor and a vintage 1920's stand-up bar. Dining is available in the bar at tables overlooking bustling Lyndale Avenue. Outdoor dining is also an option on the charming sidewalk cafe.
Available for private gatherings any night of the week is a 35 seat private dining room, artfully designed to give the feel of an old world wine tasting room.
